hello party people Roz everything is art. That what the digital age is all about.

What i been up to.  I make my day job my art. So I have been working hard at making my marketing an art form.  I try to be an example as I teach as I learn. It's all one big cycle.  So here it is is hot off the press. I am working on an ad for my new class Zoom in Acting.  (i hope you guys are in it)  And I learned that this photo is the most clicked on photo to get people's attention from my teacher.

Most clicked on opt in photo on the internet.

Most clicked on opt in photo on the internet.

Here's my interpretation of it.   I tried to create the feeling with a woman of color.

I am trying to capture the artist on vacation and how for us vacation is a time to create which is work which is play which is why we should stay in the process always.   I love you.  Let  me know how you are doing.  See you on the call.

I answer questions through

  1. the blog.  Here or
  2. on the voice mail.
  3. I don't answer artistic questions though email (email is for business)  :-)

My Commitment

My commitment is two-folds and honors my personal and professional life.

The first is, I am accepting what is moment-to-moment, finding gratitude in every experience, and cultivating a positive perception so that the reality my mind creates is one that I want to be in.

What does this look like? I achieve this goal by appreciating every experience, keeping my mind, body, and soul peaceful, healthy, and happy, making every interaction meaningful and loving, and living life with a “why not” mentality.

The second is, I am touching as many lives as possible by inspiring people to be who they are and live in the moment.

What does this look like? I achieve this goal by acting and consulting startups in mindfulness practices.

I am committed to being Candice Marie Bennett for myself, for others, and for art’s sake.

Spark Story

About Me and My Spark:

The moment that crystallized my acting journey was years and years ago. When my family and I went to see our cousin Virginia Louise Smith Houston Act in the play The Detective Story in New York City. I remember the theater being very intimate, the scene was set up like a detective office. The moment that stuck out in my mind is my cousin scenes. Her husband found out about her affair. Her character and her husbands character were having a conversation. Her husband had found out what she had done. She was admitting to what she had done. In that moment when she conveyed her emotions really inspired me. In that moment she wasn't my cousin anymore, she became that character. She was crying she was admitting to what she had done. She was telling the truth.in that moment of telling the truth I wanted to be her character in the scene. I didn't realize it at the time, but I found my Neverland. I was transported into a world of creativity and inspiration.

Home studio question

Hey Roz, So glad to get the first dose of AIDA! I really like the idea of getting the pop-up background for putting myself on-tape for auditions (my home office has some crazy busy wallpaper!). I know blue is a go-to color, but I like to wear blue for auditions a lot, so maybe a blue background isn't the best choice? What would you recommend? Thanks and looking forward to getting to work, Chris Chris Lindsay-Abaire 917.771.6359 www.brooklynppdsupport.org

AIDA Q& A Call

14:30:54     From Evelyn : Hi Roz!  This is Evelyn.  I was traveling a lot these last couple of months and missed most of the program  :(   I was on one call in the very beginning and this call.  Can you tell me how can I still “do the program” now that it will be over?  (I’m a little shy which is why my video is blocked lol, as you can see I can really use this program!!!)

14:49:11     From Evelyn : Roz I would love your opinion!   I was told by someone here in NY that practically nobody does the bi-coastal thing (LA & NY) with commercials or commercial print.  She said they are based in either once coast or the other.   I’m from NYC  :) but have been spending time out in LA too (cause my boyfriend lives there).  I shot my head shots with a photographer in LA last month who wants to send me to 3 agents in LA at CESD who are LA based agents.  I don’t like being told something isn’t possible lol.  Do you really think it’s true that it’s not possible to sign up with an agency like CESD if I’m bi-coastal?  Thank you SO MUCH!!!!

A Tag Line Can Be long or short.  But it's always an image that you can nail in one frame.  It has to feel right to you.  They capture one of your essences.  They change over time.  You digital media should deliver on the promise of your tag lines.  Use them through out your marketing.

FYI.  Think of marketing as getting known or sharing your gifts, building relationships.  It's not as nasty as it can sound.

Love ya

Still in the work,

ROZ

Made On iPhone Sneak peak

This is the film Alexis made.  It was made with available resources. iPhone 6 Plus. Filmic Pro App. We did use a mic and zoom recorder. She did set and costume herself. I did a basic edit. Nothing fancy on Final cut pro X.

I will be inviting you all to a screening of all 7 iphone films.  I am just showing you this one because I love it and she's a brand new actor and writing and content creator.  I am just so proud of what she was able to accomplish. It really shows off her abilities and interest as an artist.  So she has something to show people and that experience that the industry today demands.
