Found Key Questions and started before I was ready...freedom from thinking about it
I now commit to starting before I am ready…
Thank you Roz…every day I would get AIDA posts and had no clue as to the task descriptions.
Thanks to your individual attention (love) I have my home page access.. to weekly tasks and I was able to begin with my
Key questions for Mary Goggin the person
I am the eldest daughter of Irish Emigrants, made of fire.
I am courageous.
My greatest achievement is my beautiful, authentic daughter.
My deepest wounds originate in the potato famine.
I want and need to create my one-person show and finish my book. I want to heal others and myself thru humor. My experience is that my sometimes brutal honesty gives others permission to be honest with themselves.
What keeps me from starting is that I never feel ready…now I realize ..I need to start before I am ready!!!
I must do now or I never will. I risk friendships and popularity with family by being true to myself.
My biggest fear is being on my deathbed saying …I wish I had…
My heart is filled with gratitude for my support group..actors, artists and oh!!! lots of nuns (really) and lots of drunks..
It is my honor to be there for them all.

The Commitment
I Tereill Renee Peay, believe that laughter is healing and it is my pleasure to help those who feel broken or uneasy, by putting a smile on their face, and joy in their hearts each time I showcase my art.
I am committed to completing AIDA, so that I can follow my journey of starting an one woman show and a comedy series. I will challenge my abilities by stepping out of my comfort zone and trusting my instincts, so that i can show the world that i am fearless, an a God fearing woman who can do exceedingly and above my own expectations.

Short Bio 1st Draft!
Welcome future collaborators! My passion as an artist knows no bounds and I have been fortunate to portray fearless women with a hint of mystery, so if you want a vivacious actress full of fortitude, vulnerability, and wit I'm your lady.
My MFA in Acting and a BFA in Musical Theater have given me a solid foundation and the freedom to play, take risks, and make bold choices from a place of confidence. My training has also fueled my passion for travel and led me researching Jane Austen in the English countryside and exploring the cultural richness of Ireland. Like a curious traveler I approach my work as an actor with the confidence to explore the unknown.
A few years ago I took a road trip to the Grand Canyon. I remember getting out of the car, following the trail through the brush, and this majestic landscape opened up before me. Having grown up in Atlanta, Ga it was like nothing I had ever seen before in my life, it was truly breathtaking. As I stood on the side of the Canyon I remember thinking two things: 1) It would really suck if I tripped on a rock and fell off the side of the Grand Canyon plunging to my death and 2) I wish I had someone special to share this moment with. That memory reminds me to make each moment count and my goal as an actor is to create incredible moments to share.
Thankfully I've had the opportunity to collaborate with directors and theaters who share my vision of bringing magic to the masses such as Westport Country Playhouse, McCarter Theater, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and the Alliance Theater. Who knows maybe my next collaboration will be with you, so if you're open to it let's tell a story together.
Cheers! Nakeisha Daniel

Another thing you can try is changing the picture up.
ROZ
Tread lightly spark story warning.
Fixed the link. So the transcript is good to good to go. In it I talk about the gut check. And that you want to reveal your truth but not abuse yourself. People who have particularly emotional sparks tread lightly. You must have real world support to take this risk. IE. A therapist (7 years myself) or life coach (in and out of life coaching myself) to have processed your stuff. If you have never come to terms with your past and it triggers you, it's probably not meant to be shared.
Personally a one woman show emerged from one of my childhood sparks. Like the memior it's true, but would never hold up in court. We tell it so it's crafted and entertaining and mush characters and incidents together for dramatic effect. But the truth is there in a big way. It is the impact that we leave with the audience and it's also the foundation of the work. It is at it's core writing like you act.
Remember when you first started taking acting classes before you picked up a text and you did basic exercises getting to know yourself? It harkens back to that time. (This is if you of course for those who were trained in this way.)
Everybody: Eat the fish and spit out the bones.
You are the president of your artistic country.
more questions mostly about spark story
When I click transcript download, nothing happens.
Also, what is the audience I am addressing in Spark Story? Clearly, there are a lot of things I might share in Spark Story that is addressed on a less public platform—i.e.. community blog — that I would not address put on public platform like FB, etc..
A great question from Richard: Do you usually write, include standard cover letter…or think that resume/headshot speaks for itself? Is there a good website for samples?
Hi.
I do not think that the resume speaks for itself. i prefer to give the picture and resume in person and if I am using snail mail to send a post card of a photo that captures the essence of the role as described in the script or breakdowns. I would have it printed by http://printstagr.am
Every submission is a pitch for a specific project. So you have to write about your connection to the role or project in a way that is super specific.
What are you bringing to the role? What's your offer? How will you make their project better. I will look for samples.
Here's one off the top of my head.
Dear Original Big Daddy,
Watching Empire is like hanging out with my Detroit family. Thank you for making a show that I personally relate to so intimately.
I saw the role of Geneva come up in the breaks and I am compelled to reach out. I know why the caged bird sings. I have survived. I long to bring this truth to the work.
It would be an honor to audition for Geneva.
I will follow up with your office on Monday for an appointment time.
In the work,

PS. Have you read my article about the impact your work in television is having on the african america artistic community. (that would be a link)

So the skills are writing. Taking a photo that captures an essence in one frame. Follow through and GUTS.
Some of the results that my students and clients have gotten are astounding. Artistic relationships that create workshops and friendships alike.
I assigned my students taking a photo that captures the breakdown. There are some on instagram #nyuaida #aida2014
Here's one of my favs. ( I will fill this in as soon as I find it)
This post will be updated.
Bio :-)
“Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon.”-Paul Brandt
Psychotherapist, Children’s Book Author, Commercial Model, Broadcaster, Actress, and in just a few short months, a new member of the PhD Mile High Club.
What do all of these professions have in common? Candice Marie Bennett. Now, some may say that Candice (i.e. me) is a bit scattered. Perhaps even an overachiever. However, all of these passions lead to the root of my life goal. That is, to touch as many lives as I possibly can and remind myself and others to always be who you are.
My journey into seeking footprints on the moon began when I became a psychotherapist. I was living in Maryland and created a very cozy life for myself. However, I realized that cozy has never been my thing. From reading my mom’s introduction to psychology college book at age 10 to travelling to Europe (twice) with only enough money for one month’s rent in my bank account, I fearfully knew that I needed something more.
That fear eventually became the catalyst to seeking a new way of life.
A year after settling into my cozy life, I began my doctoral program a week before I relocated to Los Angeles to pursue commercial acting. While there, I was able to accomplish my goals of booking several commercial and print ads as well as being in a film. I wrote and published my first children’s book titled, Whose World Is This? I also rekindled my love for being a nerd and expanded my knowledge of clinical psychology to business psychology. After three years in Los Angeles, I have now relocated to New York to continue pursuing my acting career, write children’s books, and complete my PhD program.
What was that new way of life you ask? No matter what happens or what emotions I experience, I will always be who I am. I will always courageously live in the present moment and make decisions based in self-love instead of fear.
This has been the best decision for my life and is what I seek to teach/remind/inspire others to experience.
